‘Midday Adventures: Blood Trap’ directed by Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian has been one of the 37th annual Fajr Film Festival’s most sought after films.
In the first day of public screening, the highly acclaimed political drama has been one of the festival’s most popular films, with some time-slots completely selling out and other time-slots over 90% full.
According to media reports, Mahdavian’s film was sold out for the 20:00 time-slot with long lines having formed since 17:00, and many tickets being sold in the black market.
One cinema owner indicated that for the later time-slot of 00:35, over 90% of the tickets were sold; blowing away their expectations for a time-slot that was held after midnight.
